Midland Mencap's
2022 Christmas Medley

A brilliant project to be a part of! As part of Midland Mencap's 'Singing Theory' programme, we put together a medley of the participants' favourite Christmas songs.

​

At the end of the 12-week block, we took the participants on a trip to a local recording studio and created the attached video.

​

We were also incredibly lucky to be able to perform the medley at Birmingham Town Hall as part of their 'Families Together at Christmas' event.

Midland Mencap's
2022 Jubilee Project

As funded by Arts Council England and Heart of England Community Foundation.

This project celebrated not only the 60th Anniversary of the late Queen's reign, but also Mencap's 60th year of operating.

​

The theme was legacy, so we decided to use the Queen song 'Don't Stop Me Now' as our base. We then took suggestions from session participants, to make the song a more personal celebration of why they come to Mencap and the benefits it has given them personally.

​

We were delighted with the end result, and Heart of England CF even asked us to perform the song for them live at their end-of-year event - a real honour.
